Privacy Policy

This policy explains what CONTENCITY collects through the website, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

When you request a booking or contact us, we may collect your name, billing email, phone number, company name, requested services, dates, locations, production preferences, budget selections, and the content of your messages. If you choose to receive text messages, we also retain your consent choice, the disclosure you accepted, the time of consent, the page where it was given, and the IP address used to submit it.

Our hosting and security providers may also process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, request time, referring page, and diagnostic logs.

We also collect website usage information through analytics, which is described in the Website analytics section below. That information covers the pages you view, how you arrived, the general type of device you are using, an approximate city-level location, and a small number of specific actions such as tapping a phone link or submitting a booking request. It does not include the name, email address, phone number, address, or message text you type into a form.

2

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Review and respond to booking requests.
  • Schedule, plan, price, and deliver services.
  • Send invoices, receipts, project updates, and file links.
  • Provide customer support and maintain project records.
  • Protect the website, prevent abuse, and meet legal duties.
  • Measure how the website is used so we can improve pages, fix problems, and understand which services and areas people ask about.
3

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We may share information with service providers that help us host the website, communicate, invoice, process payments, schedule work, store files, deliver media, measure website usage, or protect our systems. They may use the information only to provide those services to us. Our analytics provider is Google LLC, described below.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, sale, financing, or transfer of the business.

4

Payments and third-party services

Payment details are handled by the payment provider named on your invoice. CONTENCITY does not need to receive your complete card number. Services linked from this website have their own privacy practices, and their policies apply when you use them.

5

Cookies and similar technology

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way. This website uses two kinds and no others.

  • Essential. Needed for security, abuse prevention, and core functions such as keeping a booking request intact while you fill it in. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
  • Analytics. Set by Google Analytics to count visits and tell a returning visitor from a new one. These are described in detail in the next section.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media tracking pixels, session recording, heat mapping, or any technology that follows you across unrelated websites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to browse the site, contact us, or submit a booking request.

6

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a measurement service provided by Google LLC, to understand how people find and use this website. It is the only analytics tool on the site.

What it records. The pages you view and how long you stay, the website or search engine that sent you, the general type of device, operating system, browser, and screen size, an approximate location derived from your IP address at city level, and whether you are a new or returning visitor. It also records a small set of actions we chose deliberately: tapping a phone, text message, email, WhatsApp, or Instagram link, and successfully submitting a booking request.

What it does not record. When a booking request is submitted, Google is told only that a request happened, which services were selected, how many days were requested, and the quoted total. Your name, email address, phone number, company, shoot address, and anything you typed in a message field are never sent to Google. Google does not receive your invoices, files, or footage.

Advertising. Google Signals is turned off on our property. Your activity here is not linked to a Google advertising profile, is not used to build audiences, and is not used for remarketing or targeted advertising by us. We do not run advertising pixels on this website.

IP addresses. Google uses your IP address to estimate a general location and then discards it. Google Analytics does not make your IP address available to us, and we do not store it through analytics.

How long it is kept. Visitor-level analytics records are deleted automatically by Google after the retention period set on our property. Aggregate reports, such as how many people viewed a page in a given month, may be kept longer because they no longer identify anyone.

How to opt out. You have three options, and any one of them works.

  • Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which stops the measurement script on every website you visit.
  • Block cookies for this site, or browse in a private window, using your browser settings.
  • Use a content blocker or a privacy-focused browser. Most block Google Analytics by default, and we do nothing to work around them.

Google processes this information as our service provider under the Google Measurement Controller-Controller Data Protection Terms and its own privacy policy. Google may transfer and store this data on servers outside your country.

We also use Google Search Console, which reports in aggregate how this website appears in Google search results. It does not place cookies on this website and does not identify individual visitors.

7

Do Not Track and browser privacy signals

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is still no common industry standard for how a website should answer one, so this website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. The opt-out methods described above work regardless.

We do not sell or share personal information, so a Global Privacy Control signal does not change how this website behaves. You may still contact us with any privacy request at the address at the bottom of this page.

No third party collects personally identifiable information about your activity across other websites through this website over time.

8

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for bookings, project delivery, accounting, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary with the type of record and the relationship.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and operational exceptions. You may also opt out of promotional email using the instructions in the message or by contacting us, and you may opt out of analytics using any of the methods listed in the Website analytics section. We may still send messages needed for an active booking or project.

10

Calls, text messages, and email

We may call or email you to respond to a request you submit. We send booking-related text messages only when you separately choose to receive them. These messages may include quotes, scheduling, reminders, and project updates. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out of text messages or HELP for help. Choosing not to receive text messages does not affect your ability to request or purchase services. We may continue communicating by another method when needed to handle an active request or project.

We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties, except service providers that deliver the messaging service for CONTENCITY.

11

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child submitted information.

12

Policy updates

We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal duties change. Every update to our policies and terms is always reflected on this website, and the effective date at the top of the page shows the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
